• Caring for Studio 773 Pillows
  Studio 773 pillows will last for years if they are well cared for. Please ensure a long and happy life for your Studio 773 pillows by taking extra care when cleaning them.
  
  We strongly recommend professional cleaning of our pillows due to varying fabric and trimming contents. In particular, the fine details of our hand-painted and embroidered pillows are subject to damage during laundering; a professional cleaner will be able to minimize the risk of damage.
  
   Our Outdoor Living pillows are designed to be sturdy enough for outdoor use; their paints and fabrics are lightfast and water resistant. However, even these pillows we recommend leaving for a professional to clean.
   We do not advise that these pillows be washed at home.  Again, professional cleaning is recommended for all finished pillows.
  
  You may, if you wish, wash the removable down and poly pillow inserts at home. We recommend the following processes should you choose to clean the pillow inserts at home.
  
  Down pillow inserts
  Washing:
  If soiled or stained, down pillows can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. We recommend laundering rather than dry cleaning. Laundering rejuvenates the lofting quality of down, making pillows full, fluffier, and fresh smelling.
  You may wash down items in a front-loading, extra capacity washer (the kind used by professional laundries) using a mild detergent in warm water. Do not use top-loading washing machines as the agitation may damage the delicate cotton cover. Some modest shrinkage or wrinkling may result from washing but will not be visible once the down insert has been replaced in the pillow in which it came.
  Drying:
  Down pillows dry best in the sun. Spread them out on a sheet on grass or on a deck, and shake them vigorously from time to time while drying. You may also tumble dry in a dryer set on medium heat. Remove every hour and fluff. Placing a few tennis balls in the dryer will facilitate the drying. Be certain your down pillows are thoroughly dry before returning to the bed or storage to prevent mildew. Always store down pillows in cotton bags, never in plastic.
  Poly pillow inserts
  Washing:
  If soiled or stained, poly pillows can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. For the cleaning of poly pillows, we recommend laundering rather than dry cleaning. You may wash poly items in a front-loading, extra-capacity washer (the kind used by professional laundries) using a mild detergent in cold water.
  
  Drying:
  Tumble dry in a dryer set on low heat. Remove every hour and fluff. Placing a few tennis balls in the dryer will facilitate the drying. Do not over dry, and remove promptly from dryer to prevent excessive wrinkling.

If you have an FPO address, please contact us in advance of making purchases to confirm the item(s) you are interested in can be shipped to your address via USPS.

For home décor orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii and ALL International destinations (there's no where we won't ship!) rates are calculated at checkout based on live rates from the United States Postal Service and product weight information. Please note, no tracking information is available for USPS shipments and we cannot guarantee a delivery date. Cost of shipping to International destinations does not include the cost of taxes, tariffs or other customs fees. All taxes, tariffs and other customs fees are the responsibility of the receiver.
