"Vulture" is part of an ongoing series of Woodland Creature Prints made by husband and wife team Paul Roden and Valerie Lueth. Mix and match with other beautiful prints from the Woodland Creature Prints series. This is NOT a digitally reproduced print. This image is a hand-carved woodblock that has been printed through a press onto paper by the artists (Paul and Valerie)."Vulture" is a limited edition of 50 prints. Each print in the edition is signed, titled and numbered.
Prints are packaged in clear, resealable sleeves with coroplast backing (see pictures above for what print looks like packaged) Ready for gifting, propping up on a shelf, or safely transporting until framed."Vulture" will be shipped flat in unbendable, tidy, and secure packaging. About Tugboat Printshop: Tugboat Printshop is the Pittsburgh-based printshop, frameshop, and studio space of husband and wife team Paul Roden and Valerie Lueth. The couple--both with degrees in printmaking--specialize in traditional woodcuts and etchings but also make drawings and other works on paper. Tugboat Printshop's aim is to help propagate the spread of reasonably priced, hand-crafted and hand-printed multiples with contemporary appeal to peers and collectors alike. Tugboat Printshop has been in operation since late 2006.
The "Woodland Creatures" woodcut series is the first project that Paul and Valerie have worked on collaboratively. The set includes 27 creatures--all woodblocks printed on creme archival paper. The collection debuted at TAG Art Gallery in Nashville in December, 2007.
