From the Materials collection designed by Piet Hein Eek for NLXL: "A lot of companies have made marble reproduction products, but never in the way we envisioned it. So we decided to give it a try. When the printing proofs came in we had the exact same thrill as we had five years earlier with the Scrapwood Wallpaper. You just want to install it everywhere."
When they cut marble they cut slabs of stone, if you take two consecutive slabs and flip them you get a mirror image. There is one roll of marble wallpaper, another roll that's the mirror image of it, and in marble they call this an open book. The concept 'Open Book' can be applied starting at two rolls.
You can create walls as shown on image 3 (mirrored strips) by ordering a regular roll (PHM-70) and a mirrored roll (PHM-71 M).

Please note: Burke Decor does not accept wallpaper returns at this time. Why? Wallpaper is produced in batches (similar to tile) and due to dye-lot variations that occur based on when the rolls are produced, we are unable to accept returns. We are more than happy to exchange unopened wallpaper for another pattern or store credit.
Regarding the metallic wallpapers, NLXl cannot guarantee that the colors are exactly the same as the samples. The printer cannot calibrate the printer as usual while printing on a metallic surface. The reflection of the metallics makes it difficult, and because of this, there could be a slight difference in colour comparing to the samples. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
